It's been exactly three years since the last issue of Balcony, a zine that I was putting together more or less once a year between 2017 and 2019. This issue was in a state of near-completion when life changed dramatically in the late winter of 2020, and I spent the next two years returning to it sporadically trying to gather motivation while everything felt strange and often pointless. Somehow, a recent rush of inspiration tied up loose ends that had been stressing me out for months, and all the hovering elements for the zine fell into place in about a week.

This hard-fought issue consists of just three pieces, an interview with Montreal composer/vibe-finder YlangYlang, a review of/chat with Olympia's The Moving Pictures, and an extensive talk with Michigan free punk trio XV, the band's first interview ever. Cover star is my cat Allison, naturally. Risograph printed covers, 24 pages.
