Max Knouse - Half Sound Cassette
RIYL - Arthur Russell, Michael Hurley, Richard Buckner, Robbie Basho - Originating from a short live set of cosmic folk songs centered around a 1960’s Stella 12-string guitar recorded at home in Western Oregon during quarantine by Knouse for internet radio, Half Sound was reworked from the raw mixes by Long Beach producer/musician Chris Schlarb, with Arthur Russell’s World of Echo as a rough sonic blueprint. The original live session aired on September 20, 2020 as part of Jason P. Woodbury’s Range and Basin on Radio Free Aquarium Drunkard, which airs every third Sunday of the month on Dublab internet radio. Half Sound is brought to you on cassette by Why Findings.
