Philip Gayle - Mammoth Flower CD

Public Eyesore is pleased to announce the release of Philip Gayle’s latest album “Mammoth Flower” (PE156). In typical PG fashion, he overdubbed many different acoustic instruments to create whirling sound-scapes, utilizing the environment around him. He did field recordings of a goose, cats, the rain, and kids playing in a park, as well as a creaky door to complement the diverse array of instruments recorded in the
studio in Utsunomiya, Japan with special guests appearing on three of the seven pieces.
